The Hydroflyer Cruiser CF takes the most forgiving hull in the range and builds it entirely in carbon. The platform is unchanged — 226 by 86 cm, 160 litres, the V-nose that meets oncoming chop cleanly — but the material underneath it is not, and that shows up in how the board behaves once you are moving.
Carbon is lighter and considerably stiffer than fibreglass. Less flex means the hull transmits what the foil is doing instead of absorbing it, so inputs arrive at your feet sooner and the machine feels more precise through a turn without giving up the Cruiser's inherent calm.
The keel grows to 78 cm of carbon, which buys height above the water: more room to ride through swell, more tolerance for the board dropping a little, and a wider window for leaning the mast into a turn. It also asks for depth, so shallow launches need more thought than on the aluminium version.
Driving it is the same 5.6 kW motor as the AL, but paired with the high-speed propeller and the second-generation operating system it reaches 50 km/h and holds around two and a half hours on the 2.4 kWh battery. The smart low-profile throttle sits flatter in the hand than the Gen.1 unit.
